Known worldwide as the ultra-luxury boutique of choice for the man who wants for nothing, Stefano Ricci Men’s Wear is the pinnacle of the luxury lifestyle. Through ELL’s relationship with the brand, we have grown from covering the exclusive VIP events held for collection launches to producing events at their West Georgia location. In addition, our pieces on the brand have been repurposed by numerous local digital/print publications, and imagery is now part of the brands’ identity. This past April, ELL accepted an invitation and travelled to Florence, Italy to spend a day with Mr. Ricci and his family documenting the various aspects of their production facilities and interviewing key persons for multiple articles that were produced for Folio.YVR Luxury Lifestyle Magazine.

Client: Turnabout Luxury Resale

Turnabout Luxury Resale is Vancouver’s oldest consignment fashion and accessory reseller business. After 40 years of operations, it was apparent that as their original ‘businesswomen’ audience was now being replaced by a younger audience hungry to pursue a sustainable lifestyle. Raised on digital media, this new youth market was seeking luxury brand labels at an affordable price-point. ELL consulted with the owner of Turnabout and her marketing team to create a strategy that employed weekly blogging on the topics of international runways and trends, influential local females, and store spotlights. The website was rewritten and relaunched with a more sophisticated feel and the social media manager and in-house photographers were advised on how to create compelling content for a wider market.

Villa Eyrie Resort is an exciting hospitality client on Vancouver Island. After a 9-year closure and $2M+ revamp, owners GAIN Group needed a strong omni-channel push to awaken the west coast to their luxury property less than 3-hours from downtown Vancouver. ELL was contracted to assist. We provided three stories and photography in Folio.YVR Luxury Lifestyle Magazine which focused on a) the resort as a whole, b) the award-winning Chefs as personalities, and c) the unique non-alcoholic cocktail selections. The results were highly lauded by the owners and are being shared through Hospitality channels.

Casa Italia Concept is a boutique luxury furniture store looking to capitalize on the influx of overseas home buyers and their need for high-ticket furniture and home decor. The challenge was to broaden awareness locally by including interior designers, staging experts, developers, and home renovators, in the digital conversation. The social media revamp included the 30/30 package which introduced a focus on unique Italian brands, creating sophistication and consistency with posts, a weekly spotlight on Vancouver Top 10 Designers raised awareness of the brand pre-IDS West 2018 and facilitated high-level B2B engagement.

The founders of Sixofour Life were gearing up for their first Kickstarter! to raise capital for their second set of limited edition timepieces. ELL developed a short-term strategy that created a new optimized/responsive website with updated SEO-friendly content, blog content, newsletter blasts, and a simple but effective social media strategy which the founders implemented after training.

Colton’s Couture is a boutique luxury retail store attracting a solo demographic of young, wealthy, female Asian students. The challenge was to broaden the market-base to include both genders with an age range of 18-65, of all backgrounds. The social media revamp included the 30/30 package which introduced a focus on product design and styling, having fun with luxury designer goods, building the male and mature female demographics. Posts were clean, concise, and strategically tagged to ensure engagement. Website engagement increased over 3,200% within 90-days and stayed consistent over the 1-year contract.

Chobee was a start-up with a client base in the luxury market offering primarily WeChat/video creation services in the Lower Mainland. The owner quickly pivoted to a ‘luxury medispa’ niche and required a rapid brand overhaul to establish a digital history. The challenge to take 5-months of content (including video, event, and client-based) and rapid post into a 30-day timeline. The result was the creation of 750 posts in chronological order which provided Sales with a visual tool and an instant company ‘history.’

Cattivo Ragazzo is a men’s luxury bespoke suiting company that was seeking success through a second-round of financing. The brand needed an image makeover from ‘bad boy’ to ‘sophisticated modern man’ quickly. To do this in a relatively short period time, ELL created a 3-month social media strategy, developed a client list for CRM, wrote and facilitated the launch of a new mini-site website, and produced activations including a luxury invite-only catered event for 200 in Yaletown at a prestigious art gallery.
